Old Guest Farm
The Old Guest House offers guests a typical old-style Namibian stay. With 11 en-suite rooms, a swimming pool, lots of safe spaces for child play (not necessarily for children!) and the opportunity to see and experience a working farm. This area also boasts 5 camping sites that can host up to 30 persons each.

Namibgrens Mountain Camp
Namibgrens Mountain Camp comprises 12 private camping sites that accommodate groups ranging from 2 – 30 people per site. Each site has its own private, but open-air ablution facilities – feel the winter chill or summer heat in its fullness and become one with nature. Keep the young ones busy with volleyball and swimming in our beautiful rock pool!

Luxury Villas
For the more discerning traveler or weekender, the luxury villas are ideal. See how the luxurious simplicity of the buildings blends harmoniously into nature. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and private, also with large living and cooking areas.

Bushman’s Rest
Bushman’s Rest is a completely private thatched house ideal for a large family or group of friends. The house comfortably sleeps 8 adults in its 3 en-suite bedrooms, each with outside door. The communal living area is the ideal backdrop for creating fun-filled memories.

HIKING TRAILS IN SOLITAIRE, NAMIBIA

Our 45 Km self-guided Hiking Trails are well marked and can be followed with ease. The hikers have a choice concerning the distance and the time they want to spent on the trail. This varies from 2 hours to 3 days.

Trails meander along granite outcrops and valleys to picturesque viewpoints on the escarpment overlooking the Namib Desert. The flora and fauna is abundant and interesting with a big variety of animals and plants.

Naukluft National Park at 50 000km² is the largest game park in Africa, a wildlife enthusiasts idea of heaven. The Gamsberg Nature Reserve is also in close proximity and is home to Namibia’s fourth highest mountain.

While searching for Solitaire accommodation as you negotiate the C14 out of Namib Naukluft National Park, you will come across the Kuiseb Pass. Its breathtaking scenery is worth stopping for.

The Spreetshoogte Pass joins the Khomas Highlands and the Namib Desert and is the steepest in Namibia, offering some impressive views.
